Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FounderLens (the “Service”), operated by Mostafa Khafagy under the business name Khufu Systems, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FounderLens is a startup intelligence platform that provides teardown analyses, builder playbooks, scoring systems, and related content. The Service includes free and paid tiers with varying levels of access to tools, data, and AI-powered features.

3. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com (Paddle Payments Ltd). When you subscribe to a paid tier, you are entering into a transaction with Paddle, who handles billing, taxes, VAT, and payment processing on our behalf.

Subscription prices are displayed on our pricing page. Paddle will charge the applicable amount based on your location, including any required taxes. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

5. Free Tier

The Free tier provides access to all teardown content, editions, builder playbooks, FounderLens Score, the blog, and newsletter. The Free tier requires email registration but no payment. We reserve the right to modify free tier features with reasonable notice.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid tier until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the Free tier.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data without permission
• Redistribute, resell, or republish content without authorization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

8. Intellectual Property

All content on FounderLens — including teardowns, analyses, scores, playbooks, blog posts, and visual design — is the intellectual property of Khufu Systems. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. FounderLens content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or business advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Khufu Systems and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
